The Holochain ecosystem is made of several distinct projects, each with its own website, and it is easy to land on a copycat page or on a mirror that stopped being updated years ago. This page lists only the official sources: the Holochain framework itself, the Holo hosting network that serves hApps to ordinary web visitors, Holo Ventures and Unyt, and the older research projects — Metacurrency and Ceptr — the whole design grew out of. The GitHub organisations and the original white papers are here too, for anyone who would rather read the source than a summary of it.
Holo Ventures is the newest name on that list. It was formed in July 2026 and is led by Cameron Burgess; it sits alongside Holo Limited and the Holochain Foundation rather than replacing them. Because it is the most recent official entity — and because it appeared just as the HOT → HoloFuel migration was being prepared — it is the first link below, and usually the best place to check whether a piece of news you have read is still current.
Before you buy, host or build anything, check the address against this list: announcements about HOT and HoloFuel are only trustworthy when they come from one of these domains.
