Partnerships with Holochain
On February 26th Holo announced a new partnership with Next Block Group Holdings, a company aimed to advise established enterprises to help them to build decentralized applications. More precisely Next Block Group operates an investment platform that allows to join base layer protocols with established enterprises. Through this partnership Holochain will provides not only a deep solution for enterprises who want to build decentralized application set but also a hosting solution that is truly distributed and decentralized. A lot of information is circulating about a possible partnership with Mozilla and the Holochain team confirms having discussions and a Meetup even took place at Mozilla with the development team. And it's a safe bet that the rewriting of Holochain core using the Rust language that is itself created by Mozilla is one of the conditions of the partnership, it could eventually emerge on functionalities adapted to the users as for example an identification system, a portfolio but also a portal for accessing all the decentralized applications directly in the Firefox browser.
Holo announced a partnership with Promether which could eventually lead to a configurable security management via a decentralized application.
